Our Story
“We felt called to open a place for the youth and young adults to go late at night that was both safe and be an encouragement”
Probably one of the most asked questions we receive is, “who are you and where’d you come from?” Well, here’s our story. My wife, Heather, and I moved with our 4 children in June of 2018 from the west coast of Florida. We wanted an escape from the heat and craziness of the area around us. We wanted to move to a place we had fallen in love with over the previous 12 years. That place was Blairsville.
We felt called to open a place for the youth and young adults to go late at night that was both safe and be an encouragement. Which is when we began the thought of opening a coffee house. Our passion for coffee and Jesus had finally had an outlet! So, in October of 2018 we began the process of building out our shop and ordering equipment. Opening day was January 11, 2019. There was an incredible response from teens and young adults, as well as even the pre-teens and older adults!
The experience has been, at times, overwhelming. But we have held onto the belief that our God is faithful and will see us through and accomplish His goal through us and Abide, whatever that may look like in the future.
